Introduction

Here you will find the descriptive core principles regarding the “Sixways” suite of indicators and their functionality.
At first glance you could be forgiven for thinking that these merely duplicate the many “trend following” types easily found on the internet today, however, don’t be fooled, this could not be further from reality.

Our bespoke algorithm is continually processing real time data, presenting it in a clean and simple user friendly graphical interface. This is then overlaid on an instrument specific template to “landscape” the market contextually reflecting current conditions.

Initial recommended settings have been optimised to assist Sixways users at all levels to achieve consistency  in the day trading arena. Additionally, each indicator has the ability for user specific customisation to enable the advanced trader to develop a more personally tailored approach in the “Six Ways a Market Moves” methodology.

SWT - Trend

The algorithm used in the calculation of the “dots” shows timeframe specific directional movement. Price and dot location lay the foundation for reading the key directional phase’s within the context of market structure.

SWT - Trigger

Using the strength of the most recent close, “Trigger” measures the vibration of the market. A truly unlagged indicator presented at the live edge in paint bar format.

SWT - Highway

The “Six” lanes of the Highway enables visibility across multiple timeframes. Adopting a dynamic approach to reduce lag, the algorithm aligns with the main chart combining speeds and bar types to provide the utmost flexibility in following the ebb and flow of price action.

SWT - Delta

Designed to give a background bias using volume and principles of auction market theory. “Cumulative Delta” calculations are constantly being compared against multiple higher time frames. Market specific for different instruments, this indicator will display the overall “bias” not only as background colour but also a linear graphic to highlight potential directional change.
